Death is greatly underestimated in its omnipresence and its blow to the ones you know. A classmate of mine, never really close, but would smile and share a chuckle or two. Seemingly the happy-go-lucky guy but would tell you when somethings isn't right or the morals in it isn't there. Was family-close guy, knew what he wanted and always accepted the just of things. He was a good if not a great person. And it's weird you only notice these things when actually leave suddenly.
There wasn't really a thought if he'd be the one to leave so soon. I'd really thought it would a bunch of other people who would be the first to meet the man in the black cloak, myself included. The choice of the roulette wheel favours no one.
'All farewells should be sudden but only if we suddenly prevail.'
