In the Hopes That Dreams Do Come True & Buffalo Wings.

For as long as I can remember, I always keep a book with me in case I need to make a note of something. As a reference, please watch that scene in Memento (by Christopher Nolan) where the chick takes all the pens in the house, talks smack to the guy who can't remember anything and watching him trying to make note of it before he forgets, in which he does.

One of these pages I try to keep close with me, is my bucket list, cause in life, you got to have goals or some sort of plan to keep your life meaningful and not to suck. On the list are some realistic goals while others are pretty far out of reach:

1. Move away from the town I grew up in. (aka Planning my prison break)
2. Meet Bill Murray before he loses his Murray-ness to time.
3. Get Knighted by the Queen (or King) and everyone around me HAS to refer to me as 'Sir' (but mainly to be a British Nobleman)
4. Ride the Vomit Comet (experience zero G)
5. Pudding Wrestling with some chick
6. Treat Mother to eat some buffalo wings at Hooters
7. Go to the Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka and give them the finger
8. The Ramen Museum in Yokohama, outside of Tokyo somewhere...

But keep in mind, Don't stop believin.

This Is Why Everyone Tells You Not to Drink the Kool-Aid.

I was reading up upon something, I forgot what, but it lead to a wikipedia spiral that ended up this article. Jim Jones seemed like that outcast that became in love with himself, his church that defined cults, and a promised world that would deliver those to Russia. It's interesting how someone can promise you all the good things in life only to spoil it with a sip of grape flavoured poison.

Caught in a Prime Directive State.

At times, the 4th dimension creates an internal conflict in all of us. I mean the delusion of time and of age. I look around and seeing what everyone else is doing. I scroll though the pictures and watch the videos, and I can't help but to walk along the same roads they were, but its never the same feeling or maintains that same notion. The 20s will go by very fast, or so I hear as my facial hair refuses to stop growing or something. I'd kinda wished I would be 13 forever.
When I kinda think about it, I first always wanted to be an astronaut. To move around in zero G, to ride the rocket out of the earth and explore the cosmic unknown. To boldly go where no man has gone before! But first we have to accomplish creating a craft that can reach and with stand warp speeds. Otherwise, were Prime Directive state.....  I talk too much.
But can't stop trying to make something. Regardless of how much will look goofy. Goofy is what I know. And possibly the best of Mickey Mouse characters, though how he can talk and not Pluto hits my head. Like a honeycomb Saturn afternoon.  

Understanding What the Smiths Were Talking About.

What can I say when there many synonyms to describe sorrow and misfortune. As facebook was created to watch the success of those peers. To make themselves feel special and unique. To feel as if life was not being wasted and to leave those who don't behind to taste the dirt around them.  For my bitterness is self-affected with only the winds from the moon and the night around will come to console or attack what I have left on the surface. As I don't think I'm strong enough to overcome the height of stands in front of me, there's nothing else I can do for it will burn within me until it can swallow me into the smolder of perished.

The Creation of Impressing the Modern Man, Years Ago.

If you were to see this movie now, you wouldn't have noticed its landmark ingenuity or its impact of film and technology. If you were there those years ago, you'd think how badass Stanley Kubrick was is. He predicted the iPad, video calling, and the idea of a moon colony. C'MON!

You Had Me At Wes Anderson.

If you watch the first few seconds of the trailer, movie, web site, or even its movie poster, you'd think they're trying too hard to be Wes Anderson (The film is not directed by Wes Anderson, but did a fine good job). True. But these days, even Wes Anderson becoming too Wes Anderson. And neither is far from a bad thing. Adventures in the Sin Bin is a loose adaptation of "The Apartment" set back in the 60s (or so from Wikipedia), but it definitely has a lot more heart then your average coming-of-age youth story. It's strong points are its script, its acting, and the art direction that makes you question if it is set in the 60s, which it actually is not (which is weird because it creatively keeps the newest of technologies out like land lines instead of smartphones / polaroids instead of... well smartphones). Just watch the trailer, and maybe find it on Netflix so you know what I'm talking about.

Who Cares What They're Saying, It's Nothing Without The Tinkle-Tingle Spotlight in the Hotlight.

Good velocity as Iceage brings rock back to a authentic and rabid state it once glorified to be. Rock music maybe 5 feet above the coffin floor, but you can never kill it off in the moonlight or daylight or any time of rights. I want to be the sensation to bring us back to the glory land and salvation. I hope to one day to make music as cool as it can be because the heart is there but nobody can hear it beat, thus does it make a sound? Que la lumière soit!

Nelson's Not Dead. They Can Never Kill Him Off.

His enemies kept a nasty veil on itself to maintain a now abandoned status quo. Change is ever present and will forever dictate the policies of government and of any nation. Any man who wants that change for good should never stand alone. As there were many who walked beside him, he spent many years alone, apart from the world. Yet, to return to find his beliefs rooted in the hearts of people who have gained the willpower to challenge the status quo and change the path of history. Nelson will never die as long as we remember him and what he inspire us to change.

Getting Lost in the Bayou.

A good composition of minimalistic dialogue and masterful scenery of New Orleans, the directing touch of Jim Jarmusch with his constant theme of a foreigner in a foreign land and close to noir feel to it, Down by Law is something majestic and tasteful.  He makes independent filmmaking as easy as a smile. And i have to say, he's made me chuckle a bit.
